The caravan of Central American migrants heading towards the United States left the state of Veracruz and started the long march to Mexico City on Monday.
SOT Xiomara Canales, Migrant (Spanish): "I am travelling with my 18-year-old son. I can't find him right now. I mean, it's because they keep the men and women separate, that's why.
SOT, Marving Castro, Migrant (Spanish): "We are praying to God that we arrive safely in Mexico City and from there on in, well God knows what's going to happen. If he sees fit, we will get to where we're going and if that's not the case, we will return by the same route, safe and sound. As ever, we gives thanks to him."
