James Gordon Meek is the longtime Washington DC-based journalist who broke the blockbuster story about U.S. soldiers killed in the African nation of Niger and the resulting coverup. But in April FBI agents raided Meek’s home, ostensibly to look for classified materials on the reporter’s computers, and ever since Meek hasn’t been seen anywhere.
