I found DEMODEX MITES under my skin and watch them move under the microscope ???? 190

Demodex face mites (Demodex folliculorum) are very common. They live in the hair follicles and feed on the oil that the follicles produce. At night, they come out to mate, and then they produce eggs in the hair follicle.

Tips for extracting the face mites for microscopic observation: Put sticky tape over your forehead, node, cheeks and leave it there for about 30 minutes. Keep the face dark to imitate night. Put the tape with the sticky surface on top on a microscope slide and observe. They can best be seen using a 40x objective. The superglue method also works, but has several disadvantages. The glue might harm the mite and it can irritate the skin and eyes. You have to be patient finding the face mites. Slowly and carefully scan the whole slide with the 10x objective. The face mites can be seen well at this magnification.
